There are so many options for wedding favors for friends and family attending your ceremony and reception. You can choose from a variety of picture frame place card holders, whimsical little novelty gifts for beach themes and others, and many more selections of gifts. I chose to go with candle wedding favors because they are very decorative, and you can get a lot of use out of a gift like that. I found just the right wedding favor boxes I wanted to use and I also ordered special hang tags for each.
I also bought lovely wedding candles, just to add to the décor of all my reception tables. They really looked nice with all the other decorations and the lovely centerpieces I got from the florist. With all the accessories necessary for a nice wedding and reception, I was really lucky to find a nice five piece accessory set, which included my guestbook, wedding pen set, ring pillow and bridal garter and a really gorgeous little flower girl basket. Buying it in a set was less expensive than buying each piece individually. Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. This lovely cake topper was a bride and groom figurine that were exact replicas of me and my fiance, and our guests were really astonished. All I had to do was send them a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they did the rest. The three tiered chocolate wedding cake we had made was just gorgeous and was decorated with all red and pink flowers surrounding it. Right beside our lucsious chocolate perfection was the most gorgeous cake knife serving set I’ve ever seen, and I insisted on buying this lovely calla lily set.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. There was no point in keeping them, what would I do with 200 champagne flutes? With our guestbook with all the signatures, our gorgeous picture album, our very unique wedding cake topper and so much more, we really didn’t need much else for keepsakes. One of the items in our five piece wedding set was the claret colored wedding guestbook with guest sign in pages, a place to list the gifts we received and a special spot for those little momentos. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. You don’t want to say, ‘thank you for your gift’, when you could mention the item they bought for you, so they know you care.
A few of the guests commented on what unique candle wedding favors we gave them and they really seemed to appreciate them. Looks like a made a wise choice in wedding favors. Everyone also told me what a great time they were having at the reception, and as we were leaving they all gave us their best wishes for a happy life. This was truly one of the most unforgettable days in my life.
