I was really surprised when I found out just how many wedding supplies I needed for my ceremony and reception. I can see now, why a couple of girls at work said I should start shopping early. I was more concerned with the dresses, tuxedos and wedding party attire, I never realized that would be the easy part. There was a lot more to planning this event than I realized. At the top of my to do list was the invitations to our country western themed wedding and reception. With my wedding reception supplies list in hand, I’d take it one item at a time, and then mark it off. First off, I needed to find the right decorations for our country themed reception. First I checked online, through the suggestion of a friend, before starting a store to store search for everything. I was amazed at what a big selection they had to offer
Who knew that if you shopped online for wedding accessories for themed weddings that there were be so many great ideas, not just for my country themed wedding, but for many others too. Our tables looked so fantastic with the cute little place card holders I picked out. Since we were having a cookout for our wedding reception, I thought the cute little barbecue grills they had for place card holders was perfect.
The wildflowers in metal campfire cups with western garland made perfect country type centerpieces. There were really super cheap wedding supplies for our wedding guests included in all the wedding reception supplies. In the wedding accessories selection were some super cowboys hats for the bride and groom that I ordered. I ordered the lovely western champagne flutes for the wedding toast that they had, too. We also had those old time lanterns and lots of white christmas lights strung outside over the reception tables. Our beautiful wedding cake with the old west cake topper really added to our bridal table. With all the themed accessories and decorations for the reception and the tables, anyone could pull off the perfect western wedding. There was tiny cowboy hats for the tables, a gorgeous cake serving set, a wedding guest book and pen set, and a western style wedding album, which I dearly loved. It was so easy to get everything I needed for wedding and reception accessories when it was right there on my computer.
Obviously I couldn’t get the bales of hay, large barbecue grills and a few other things like that online, so I did have to do a little store shopping. Well, I didn’t really get those things, the credit goes to my fiance and his friend, they took care of those items. They even made a super dance floor for the reception. Along with the super cool floor to dance on and a country band that sounded great, we had all kinds of fantastic food to eat. They grilled chicken, steaks ribs and more, and the buffet table was filled with all kinds of salads. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
I got a lot of compliments on our western décor idea, from some of our guests. The smartest thing I did was when I decided to shop online for all my western decorations and accessories. The convenience of sitting at home and shopping, then ordering my choices,and just waiting for delivery was the best part of all. It’s so much better than running myself ragged from shop to shop trying to put it all together. What was really a big help was the fact that I was able to find a lot of discount wedding supplies from their great selection.
